Stacy J. Gill, Vice President, Actuarial and Statistical Research
Stacy Gill heads MIB Solutions’ Actuarial and Statistical Research Group which is responsible for product research and development as well as industry-wide experience studies and medical impairment studies conducted by the Center for Medico-Actuarial Statistics (CMAS). Mr. Gill joined MIB in 1986 and has held roles of increasing responsibility in technology, industry research and product development. He has spoken before the Society of Actuaries, the Institute of Home Office Underwriters, and the American Academy of Insurance Medicine, and has presented to numerous industry conferences and groups. Mr. Gill holds an M.S. degree in Actuarial Science and a B.S. in Mathematics, both awarded by Boston University.
Thomas E. Rhodes, FSA, MAAA, Associate Vice President and Actuarial Director, Actuarial and Statistical Research
Tom Rhodes is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. As MIB Solutions' Actuarial Director, he oversees intercompany experience studies on life, long-term care insurance and annuities; performs analytic research for insurance companies and reinsurers; and maintains an integral role in developing new products and services for the insurance industry. Mr. Rhodes regularly presents at industry meetings and at NAIC meetings on enterprise risk management and Principles-Based Valuation and is the current Chair of the SOA Individual Life Experience Committee. Prior to joining MIB, he worked for the Guardian Life Insurance Company for more than 15 years, most recently as Second Vice President and Actuary. He also was the U.S. Veterans Administration Chief Actuary. Mr. Rhodes has a B.S. degree from Oberlin College in Ohio and an M.S. in Business Administration from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
