Security Alert Services - HTML Look-up

The Security Alert Look-up Utility is a companion research tool for MIB's Security Alert Services. It provides easy access to background information directly from the OFAC and OSFI Governmental web sites on all individual names, business entities and vessels listed as denied parties. The Look-up Utility updates with each browser load, or by refreshing the screen.

Use the links to the right to narrow your research depending on the list (OFAC or OSFI) and the type of list entry (names, entities and vessels). The underlying screen provides a comprehensive list of entries determined by list chosen and type selected. These entries are hyperlinked to detailed information sourced directly from the corresponding web site.

Search for Individuals

Individuals are sorted ascending based on numeric ID.

1. Scroll to find the correct ID number, or use your browser's search tool (Menu: Edit/Find on this Page, or Ctrl+F);
2. Place your cursor at the top of the page, pull down search tool,
3. Enter the ID number and click "Find Next."

Search for OFAC Entities

Entities and Vessels are listed by name in alphabetic ascending order.

1. Scroll to find a possible match, or use your browser's search tool (Menu: Edit/Find on this Page, or Ctrl+F);
2. Place your cursor at the top of the page, pull down search tool,
3. Enter one quotation mark and the first letter of the entity or the vessel you are searching. Example: "G" takes you to names beginning with the letter G; click "Find Next."

Search for OSFI Entities

Entities and Vessels are listed by name in alphabetic ascending order. Scroll to find a possible match.

Audit Trail

You can print the screen directly; the date of your search will appear on the printed document. You can also save the screen electronically to your hard drive: go to top menu: File/Save As and select a location and folder.

When drafting a document for a report, cut and paste the URL of the reference page into your MS Word or Excel document to create a hot link directly to the information.
